The Santa Rita Coffee Estate is owned by Families Alvarez & Pereira. Located in the municipal of Las Cuchillas in Jinotega, it is not only a great coffee estate but also committed to the sustainability of great coffee production.
Santa Rita is C.A.F.E Practices preferred status and verified and UTZ CERTIFIED and Rainforest Alliance certified. Santa Rita Estate has produced winning coffees in of the Cup of Excellence. This is one of Nicaragua’s finest coffee producing estate farms.
Social Awareness:
The Santa Rita School currently has 164 Students with a 92 % Retention rate, and 84 % Passing rate.
They currently have 60 permanent and 450 temporary employees at Santa Rita providing food, housing and excellent compensation to all workers.
